Asset Class Weightings

Do one of the following:

• If the asset belongs to a single asset class, select that asset class from the Asset Class Weightings menu.
• If the asset is weighted in multiple asset classes, follow these steps:
  1. select Manual Classification from the Asset Class Weightings menu.
  2. Assign percentages to various asset classes until the total percentage equals 100%.
• If you know the symbol for the asset you want to modify, follow these steps:
  1. enter it in the Symbol field
  2. click Classify.
• If you do not know the symbol for the asset you want to modify and would like to search for it, follow these steps:
  1. Select Manual Classification from the Asset Class Weightings menu.
  2. Select Use Asset Classifier Search from the Asset Class Weightings Options container.
  3. Enter as much information as you have into the fields under the Search container, then click Search.
     Note: You can use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard. For example, to search for all assets that being with "br" enter br* into the Ticker Symbol field.
  4. Select the appropriate asset from the Results container.

Note: The following information only applies if you are using predefined asset allocation.

1. Select an asset from the Assets menu.
2. Make changes to the asset's weightings in the Asset Class Weightings container.
   Note: The total must always equal 100%.
3. When you are satisfied with these options, click OK.

Note: The following information only applies if you are using user-defined asset allocation.

1. From the Assets menu, select an account from the list.
2. For detailed accounts, select a holding from the Holdings list.
3. From the Asset Class Weightings container, edit the weightings for the asset.
   Note: The total must always equal 100%
